This Winchester manufactured late variation (trigger) guard bow is for the model 1897 slide action shotgun and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with light wear. Late variation trigger guards are designed to mount their trigger stop screw from the inside rear section of the guard.  (file photo)
